Georgie Porgie, Puddin' and Pie, Didn't like links and made them cry,
When the links came out to play, Georgie Porgie ran away

Previously I wrote about the poor state of directories swooshing around Digital Point.
I made reference to them linking out to bad neighbourhoods which perhaps isn't the correct term as technically that means sites that host malware.
Perhaps accusing them of gratuitously linking out to spam neighbourhoods would be a better description.
Basically, few demonstrate having a editorial policy - they seem to accept anything. And submitting to dozens if not hundreds of these directories won't do your SEO campaign any good in the long-term.
However, of the 200 or so directories posted up every month some are fine to submit to and they are particularly beneficial if you get your keywords right.
Below is a list of directories posted up on Digital Point that I like the look of and at least seem to have editorial standards.
So here they are. Some are free, some aren't.
